Wednesday, July 23 is a free afternoon, during which we are offering two options to all conference delegates and companions. The excursion is included in your Regular, Student Exhibitor and Companion Option 1 and 2 registration. This is your chance to explore.  Indicate your preference when completing the on-line registration form.  Please note, should there be an insufficient number of guests sign up to one of the excursions we may cancel it and only offer one excursion.  Delegates will be notified by email and/or updated on the webpage of any changes.

Both tours will depart from and return to Gage Towers at UBC. 

Option #1 - North Shore Tour to Grouse Mountain

12:30pm - Pickup from UBC - Gage Towers
Tour through Vancouver & over the Lions Gate Bridge to the North Shore
1:15pm - Visit Grouse Mountain
2:-0pm - Lunch at the Observatory Restaurant at Grouse Mountain 
After lunch guests have free time to explore the mountain
6:00pm - Depart Grouse Mountain
Drive over the Lions Gate Bridge to Vancouver
6:30-7:00pm* - Drop off at UBC - Gage Towers

Additional tickets: $130.00 per person

*Drop off time is dependent on traffic.
**Rate includes transportation and tour guide, entrance to Grouse Mountain and lunch.  Any activities guests may want to do on Grouse Mountain are in addition to this rate.

Option #2 - Luncheon Boat Cruise

12:30pm - Pickup from UBC - Gage Towers 
Tour along Northwest Marine Drive and through Kitsilano into Vancouver
1:30pm - Depart on the Luncheon Boat Cruise with Harbour Cruises (MPV Constitution)
Cruise through the North Shore and Deep Cove areas
5:30pm - Return from the cruise
6:30-7:00pm* - Drop off at UBC - Gage Towers
